Wonderful aromatics and the palate to match. This is one of those wines that seems overtly dry, and overtly rich, at the same time, in the best of ways. It tastes of toasted bread and elaborate spices, stone fruits and preserved citrus. There’s kirsch note strumming away in the background. This is a wine of both drama and finesse; it’s crackjack.
