Lino Ramble Slinky Dry White Vermouth

Mattinson review of Lino Ramble Slinky Dry White Vermouth.

Lino Ramble Slinky Dry White Vermouth
$40, 500ml, 18.5% alcohol, cork stopper, McLaren Vale.
Recommended? Hell yes.

It’s made with white frontignac grapes, I believe, but whatever it was made with it’s an absolute beauty. It’s just so exuberant. Ripe white grapes, a huge bloom of orange peel, lemon zest, rosemary, brine and general citrus characters put on a delicious show. It’s nervy and dry but it feels like neither, courtesy of its fresh, harmonious, life-loving eagerness, both in scent and in flavour. This is $40 you won’t regret.
