Best Value: Kirrihill Regional Series Riesling 2023

Kirrihill Regional Series Riesling 2023 is one of Australia's best value white wines.

Kirrihill Regional Series Riesling 2023 is, at $19, one of Australia’s best value white wines.

Kirrihill Regional Series Riesling 2023 has to be one of the best value wines in Australian at the moment. It’s a wine that says to me that the wine industry is under stress, and whenever it is – at least in the short term – consumers tend to be the beneficiaries. This riesling is priced to be fun and friendly but is actually serious and cellar-able. It has very good intensity of sweet lime, lemon leaf and sherbet-like flavours and there’s a bit of texture and/or grip to it as well. It tastes like a $30+ or $40+ riesling rather than a $19 one. There are some pretty amazing deals around on this wine too, so shop around and make hay. This is excellent quality and excellent value.
