Moppity Block C12C Gamay 2023

Mattinson review of Moppity Block C12C Gamay 2023

Moppity Block C12C Gamay 2023
$45, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Tumbarumba.

This is a treat. It slips down beautifully but it has complexity if you care to look and it’s refreshing as well. This wine is worthy of good glassware and the dining table. It tastes of red cherries and pomegranate, strawberry, mint and sweet spice, and from start to finish it shows genuine finesse. There’s a “cooling herbs” element to this wine too, in the best of ways. It’s light and it’s lovely. 93 points.
