Hirsch Hill Toolangi Chardonnay 2024

Mattinson review of Hirsch Hill Toolangi Chardonnay 2024

Hirsch Hill Toolangi Chardonnay 2024
$45, 12.7% alcohol, screwcap, Yarra Valley.

This chardonnay is a picture of elegance and yet, at the same time, it delivers sound, satisfying flavour. It tastes of pears, cooked apples, stonefruit and wheat, a slight clip of cerdarwood oak helping to tie it all together. There’s a juiciness to the fruit here, and a svelte creaminess to the texture. It’s very easy to enjoy. 91 points.
