Biodynamically-farmed shiraz. This is a plush, richly-fruited wine with violet, plum, black cherry and redcurrant flavours flowing confidently throughout. Herb, toast and indeed licorice characters add some spread to the main run of flavour, and the aftertaste is sparked with a wild array of herb and spice notes. There’s a lot going on in a ripe-and-ready context here. It’s very good. 93 points.
