Coppabella Procella II Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2024

Mattinson review of Coppabella Procella II Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2024.

Coppabella Procella II Tumbarumba Chardonnay 2024
$60, 12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Tumbarumba.

It’s obvious from the first sip that this is grown on a great site for chardonnay. It’s just got that essence-like feel to it; that effortless concentration. It tastes of pears, peaches and cooked apple, with a light sprinkling of cerdarwood oak, and while those same flavours linger through the aftertaste they are joined by notes of mineral and brine. Coppabella is an A Grade producer of chardonnay. You can dive into this with confidence. 94 points.
