Allegiance Unity McLaren Vale Shiraz 2024
$120, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This is such a weighty shiraz. It’s blackberried and inky and drenched in iodine and washed through with rusty tannin. It carries saltbush in its highlights and fresh redcurrant in its heart. Cedar-sawdust and marshmallow notes swing throughout as well, in a balanced and complementary way. There’s a lot of wine here. 94 points.
