Koonowla Reverence Pinot Gris 2025

Koonowla Reverence Pinot Gris 2025
$28, 13.2% alcohol, screwcap, Clare Valley.

There’s a slight pink tinge to this pinot gris – almost always a good sign – and from there the wine does not disappoint. Indeed this is a pinot gris to go and seek out. The intensity of fruit flavour here is right up there; it feels clean and fresh; and through the finish it’s long and satisfying. In flavour terms it tastes of pears, crisp red apples, barley and preserved lemon, all of which is enough to have you hooked. 94 points.
