An Approach to Relaxation Sucette Grenache 2019
$55, 14.5% alcohol, cork, Barossa Valley.

This wine mines a beautiful grenache zone. It’s red berried and floral but it also dips into black and red licorice, and comes laden with mineral and spice notes. It’s complex yum. Tannin here is a particular feature; fine-grained, assertive and harmonious at once. This wine – which now includes an array of secondary characters – is at its drinking peak, in the best of ways. 93 points.
