$55, 14.5% alcohol, cork, Barossa Valley.

So much character here. This is excellent gear. It’s meaty, minerally and floral; it has as much treble as bass; it throws citrus rind into the mix of red berries and it then threads Aussie bush spice notes into the wine’s more ferrous, blood-stained areas. This is a light, insistent wine with a powerful personality. It’s as delicious as it is complex and fine. 94 points.
