Deep Purple Hands Barossa Shiraz 2024
$40, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley,.

This is soft, sweet-fruited and substantial at once. It’s satisfying and then some. It tastes of raspberry jam and violets, licorice, sweet spices and cedarwood, with mint and clove motes woven throughout. The appeal of this wine is immediate; one sip and you have its measure – and it has yours. It’s also – true to its name – a vivid purple in colour, which is always good. 92 points.
