Tablas Creek Vineyard Esprit de Tablas Rouge 2022

Mattinson review of Tablas Creek Vineyard Esprit de Tablas 2022.

Tablas Creek Vineyard Esprit de Tablas Rouge 2022
13.5% alcohol, cork, Paso Robles USA.

Tasted briefly but wow, what a wine. Intense raspberry, intense violet and lavender, wild spice, lots of bass, a spread of midtones and then electric treble. Tannin is assertive but grapey, and spicy. Spread of the finish is exceptional. Fruit is as pure and powerful as it is vigorous. Emphatic quality. 96 points.
