Tablas Creek Vineyard Grenache 2023

Mattinson review of Tablas Creek Vineyard Grenache 2023.

Tablas Creek Vineyard Grenache 2023
14.5% alcohol, cork, Paso Robles USA.

Biodynamically-grown grenache from a beautiful farm in Paso Robles. Reduction has been used to positive effect here. This is red fruited, spicy and dry with licorice and dried flowers notes bleeding into woodsmoke and peat. Intensity meets charisma. This is so tasty and yet so delicate. It has some warmth but it remains intricate. Structure is exemplary. Brilliant wine. 95 points.
