Cellier des Princes Châteauneuf du Pape La Chasse des Princes 2024
$150, 15% alcohol, cork, Cotes du Rhone, France.

This is a dry, muscular wine with iron and crushed violet notes running through licorice. black cherry, roasted meat and tar-like characters. It’s substantial and sturd, warm and pretty all at once. There’s a lot of lift to the aromas here, and good penetration through the finish as well. On a cold night it would be quite a treat. 93 points.
