This is a svelte, straightforward shiraz with bold black berried fruit, toast, smoked meat and saltbush characters pushing strongly throughout. It’s dark in colour and rich in flavour, though the finish – laced with rust-inflected tannins – feels neat and well finessed. 92 points.
