Clonakilla Viognier 2025
$60, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Canberra District.

The first word that came to mind was this: emphatic. It’s an outstanding viognier in anyone’s language. In fact it’s so good that if you’ve never bought viognier previously, you still should buy this. It’s plush, smooth-skinned, intense with fruit and spice notes, extraordinarily long through the finish and, simply, alive with character. It turns your head. It makes you stop, and it makes you think. 96 points.

Clonakilla is a Mattinson 10-Star Winery.
