Eight at the Gate Family Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
$48, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Wrattonbully.

This is a study cabernet with blackcurrant and blackberry flavours driving through herb and sweet tobacco notes. It’s perfumed on the nose and rich through the palate, with assertive tannin taking charge through the finish. There’s a lot of muscle and a lot of flesh to this hearty red wine. 92 points.
