$22, 12.2% alcohol, screwcap, Wrattonbully.

The refreshment factor of this wine is high. It has a herbal, apple-juice character to it and a dry, dusty, gooseberry-like note too but the general feel is juicy and fruity. You take a sip and you want to take another. The herbal characters here mean that it will team nicely with food but it’s very easy to just sit and drink this on its own, right now. The flavours carry on nicely through the finish too. Tasty. Refreshing. Versatile. Win-win-win. 91 points.
