L.A.S Vino Wildberry Springs Chardonnay 2023

This chardonnay has all the power and punch that you would expect of Margaret River chardonnay but then it has other benefits besides. It’s quite the distinctive wine. Salt, herbs, mineral and woodsmoke characters float through a core of grapefruit, peach and pear. It’s like a chardonnay and tonic, if you will. It dances with the botanical wolves. It has length, grace, and all those things. But mostly it feels classical and offbeat at once – in the best of ways. 95 points.
