Little Frances Chardonnay 2023

Mattinson review of Little Frances Chardonnay 2023.

Little Frances Chardonnay 2023
$45, 12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Alpine Valleys.

This is a delicious chardonnay. It’s both fresh and persistent but what really characterises it is the way it builds a body of flavour; there’s nothing lean and mean about this wine. It’s neat but it’s generous. It tastes of candied apples, stonefruit, nashi pear and nougat and it feels 100% satisfying from start to finish. 92 points.
