Luke Lambert Syrah 2023

Bottle of Luke Lambert Syrah 2023 for review.

Luke Lambert Syrah 2023.

Lambert’s nebbiolo gets all the attention but his syrah is as good or better. This 2023 release sits in a beautiful place; it’s both bold and elegant at once, its black olive notes inlaid with florals and spice, its ripe red/black cherry characters shot through with smoked meat and mineral. There are classical forces at play here. This is a cool climate syrah of both complexity and clarity.

AU $48, 13.5% alcohol, DIAM (10) cork closure.
