Dowie Doole The Architect Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
$80, 14.5% alcohol, DIAM cork, McLaren Vale.

Cabernet Sauvignon from Block C of Dowie Doole’s Blewitt Springs estate vineyard in McLaren Vale. This is a sweet-fruited, full-bodied red wine with aromatic herb notes littered throughout and a significant serve of tannin through the finish. It should make for a pretty magnificent accompaniment to, say roast lamb; the tannin will melt largely away and the wine’s mint and ripe red berried fruit flavours will match perfectly. 92 points.
