This is an excellent pinot gris. It’s powerful, it’s fresh, it’s complex and it extends well. It tastes of pears, citrus, blackcurrant bud and tonic water, and while it’s all about the juiciness of its fruit it also has a dry, stony, almost chalky aspect to the finish, which helps with the overall mouthfeel. This is a dry, clean white wine with a bit of attitude. The quality here is clear. 93 points.
