Reschke Bos Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Reschke Bos Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
AU$55, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Coonawarra.
Cabernet, Coonawarra, Reschke and the screwcap-seal can all take a bow here. This wine is getting close to ten-years-old and yet it’s in beautiful drinking shape. The fruit itself is still deliciously primary, though complex developed notes are also apparent. Now is an excellent time to drink this, but there’s no great hurry. It tastes of blackcurrant, boysenberry, mint, bay leaves and tobacco, with dried Italian herbs in play too. It all works very nicely. 93 points.
