Bottle of Curtis Family Vineyards Small Batch Pinot Noir 2023.

Curtis Family Vineyards Small Batch Pinot Noir 2023
$80, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, South Australia.

The tannin profile of this Pinot Noir is quite something. This is firm and dry from the mid-palate onwards, though the freshness and energy of the fruit beneath is clear. This wine will need a bit of time but it could be something special at maturity. It tastes of boysenberry and plums, macerated cherries and woodsy spices. It’s a serious wine. 92+ points.
