This is fleshy and free-flowing with cherry-plum, sweet spice and orange peel characters running pleasingly throughout. It’s a good wine and it’s easy to drink; it falls safely into the ‘not too heavy and not too light’ zone. There’s an appropriate pucker of tannin through the finish and good shape and mouthfeel in general. Factor in the price and this is very attractive.
