Stefano Lubiana Prestige 2011
$160

60/40 chardonnay pinot noir. Third release: 1995, 1999, and now this 2011. Steve Lubiana: “The best years for sparkling. 2011 was dry here. Cool but with little rain or disease pressure.”

Incredible sparkling. Intense. Oysters, rocks, texture, preserved citrus, just love the exaggerated character of this, and the intensity, and the length. This is sparkling wine as a stairway to heaven. It’s super. 97 points.
