This is a Pinot Noir of both substance and structure. It tastes of stewed red/black cherries and spice, with fragrant herb and cedarwood characters woven throughout. Tannin adds a a slightly chewy aspect to the finish, which works well. Everything here feels solid, well placed and well balanced. You’d imagine that it will improve over the next few years too. 91 points.
