Riposte The Sabre Pinot Noir 2023

Mattinson review of Riposte The Sabre Pinot Noir 2023.

Riposte The Sabre Pinot Noir 2023
$39, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

Lovely wine. Great drinking. Fragrant, spicy, well served by sweet-sour cherry flavours and with enough silk to its texture to make it feel fancy. On top of this is a woody, smoky, fresh-sawdust note, which fits in beautifully with the energy of the fruit. This is a winner. 93 points.
