Bellvale Pinot Noir 2024
Bellvale Pinot Noir 2024
$32, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Gippsland.
This is a complex Pinot Noir that is drinking well now and will mature well too. It’s good value and drinking. It’s tastes of sweet-sour cherries, undergrowth, autumn leaves and smoked meats, and from start to finish it feels interesting, lively, varietal and enjoyable. 92 points.
As good as this wine is, the following release – made by new Bellvale owners Port Phillip Estate – is a superior wine, and is the one that you should jump on. The 2025 Bellvale Pinot Noir ($35) was included in the Best Value Pinot Noir list.
