This is a very good Pinot Noir. It has power, it has nuance, it’s perfumed and it’s pretty. It tastes of cherry red and black, orange blossoms, woodsy spices and smoked-earth notes. It feels grunty through the finish, in a good way, courtesy of the assertion of its undergrowth-drenched tannin. It’s a serious wine, in style and substance, but its aromatics are so lively that it’s highly inviting too. 93 points.
