This is a taut, spicy, fruit-dense pinot noir of compelling quality. It tastes of forest berries and iodine, sweet spices, (modest) campfire smoke, autumn leaves and mineral, the latter notes ultimately defining the wine. This is serious pinot noir, screwed tight, presence intact.
