Coppabella The Crest Pinot Noir 2022
Coppabella The Crest Pinot Noir 2022
$60, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Tumbarumba.
This is savoury, well-fruited, well-structured and lifted by floral highlights. It’s another vote in favour of pinot noir from the Tumbarumba region. It tastes of red cherries, orange blossoms, twiggy spices and woodsmoke, with a certain (attractive) sinewy character running through the back half of the wine. This is a good stuff. It’s highly varietal, it’s balanced, and it blends savouriness and fruitiness carefully, positively and well.
