This Village release was grown on both the Scotsburn vineyard and the Robson vineyard next door.

This is both a Yes Please and a More Please. It’s a wine of both structure and complexity but at heart it offers scrumptious drinking. It’s a beautiful mix of red roses and red cherries, smoked dark chocolate, dark olives, sweet spice notes and fresh, earthen, beetroot-like flavours. All of these characters extend appreciably through the finish, which itself is etched with fine-grained tannin. It’s an excellent wine, and excellent value. 93+ points – Campbell Mattinson.
