$70, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Macedon Ranges.

This is bang on for style, varietal character, deliciousness and quality. It tastes of jellied black cherries, forest berries, drifts of herbs and autumn leaves, with woodsmoke and cedar notes helping to draw it all together. It’s the cohesion though, the mouthfeel, the energy, and the impression that everything is just right, and just so. 94 points.
