Tolpuddle Pinot Noir 2024

Bottle of Tolpuddle Pinot Noir 2024.

Tolpuddle Pinot Noir 2024
A$100, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Tasmania.

Tension, texture, drive, length, the works. This is an excellent release of Tolpuddle Pinot Noir. Chicory, black cherry, twiggy herb notes and smoked, meaty, cedarwood characters. It’s strict and sinewy on the one hand, and plush with well-pitched fruit-and-oak on the other. This needs a few years in a cool, dark place but given that, it will dazzle.
