Coppabella Sirius Pinot Noir 2022

Mattinson review of Coppabella Sirius Pinot Noir 2022.

Coppabella Sirius Pinot Noir 2022
$80, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Tumbarumba.

Chardonnay is the hero at Coppabella but this Pinot Noir does everything that it can to change that narrative. It’s an excellent Pinot Noir. It’s structural, it’s spicy, it has a floral prettiness and yet it feels serious, well-fruited and persistent. You can admire this wine from all angles. It tastes of stewed cherries, fresh strawberries, a run of sweet spice notes and something akin to red roses. It’s varietal, tasty, tannic and more-ish. 94 points.
