Dr Edge Tasmania Pinot Noir 2024
12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Tasmania.

The bottle image here isn’t correct – this is the image of the wonderful 2023 release – but I don’t yet have access to a high resolution copy of the 2024 bottle/label. The actual image for this release looks like the image below.

Brilliant. Spice, cedar, cherry-plum. Fruit is electric, fresh and powerful at once, spice notes are complementary, oak adds the sex. Tannin here is like well defined abdominals. This is a spunk of a wine with the core strength to match. So much power and undergrowth and nuance and more. 95 points.
